Students in Rutherford County are getting a chance to learn outside of the classroom on April 8th.
The district decided to use one of their “stockpile days” to close schools on April 8th so that students can enjoy the solar eclipse. On that day, the eclipse will happen at about 12:45pm and peak at about 2pm.
We won’t see totality, but we’ll still get a good show here in Middle Tennessee.
