I have to brag on our girl Meaghan Thomas this morning.
Meaghan’s our Meteorologist on the morning show and a meteorologist at News 2, but what you might not know is that she is hard of hearing and started a nonprofit called Heart of Hearing. Well on Monday they held their 2nd annual golf tournament which raised $25,000!! Obviously that’s amazing, but what’s even more special is that they were able to give a new pair of hearing aids to a Vanderbilt nurse named Haley Wiggins.
We’ve talked about it before, but hearing aids are THOUSANDS of dollars and not typically covered by insurance so that’s gonna be really helpful to Haley!
