A wildlife rescue is still suffering from Friday’s storms.
The nonprofit organization, Walden’s Puddle, in Joelton’s animal enclosures were damaged by downed trees and like many others, they were left without power for days.
Walden’s Puddle houses sick, injured and orphaned native Tennessee wildlife. Luckily none of the animals were injured in the destruction and the home base of the sanctuary wasn’t destroyed, but they did lose medications and food for the animals which is one of their biggest expenses.
