With the warm weather, I bet you’re itching to get out into nature, maybe go on a hike.
Residents are now pushing to keep a “primitive” trail at Shelby Bottoms Greenway. The trail has no asphalt, but after somebody requested Metro Parks put wood chips on the trail, they responded saying they would probably pave it.. now neighbors are like, “hang on, no.”
A petition to keep the trail natural and unpaved has been launched.
