Down in Franklin, police are laying down the law when it comes to golf carts on the road.
With the warmer weather, they’ve already seen an increase in complaints of golf carts being driven by underage drivers on the roadways. They’re reminding residents that you must have a driver’s license to operate a golf cart and if you are caught without that, you could be charged with a misdemeanor in juvenile court.
Of course there are also restrictions on where you can drive it.
