Nolensville Road is about to look different in South Nashville.
TDOT just revealed their “10-year plan” and the widening of Nolensville Road is on that list, which could take a while, but will be so helpful when complete. Nolensville Road is one of the busiest corridors in Nashville and they’re working on it in phases.
Phase 1 is underway now and if phase 2 can get funded, it would eventually widen the stretch of road from Mill Creek to Burkitt Road from 2 to 5 lanes. This would eventually bring new sidewalks and bike lanes to the road, as well.
