A Middle TN couple is celebrating their 75th wedding anniversary.
Bill and Charlotte Bethmann’s story all started in 1948 after they met through one of Bill’s Navy flight school friends- Charlotte was his friend’s sister! They got married in 1951, had 2 children and now have many grand and great-grand children.
Now, they just celebrated a special milestone as they renewed their vows for their 75th anniversary.
Before the ceremony, Bill says that if there’s one thing he’s learned in his life and with Charlotte, it’s that “love is the answer. Everyone we meet, we love. I just wish people would understand that you’ve got to love people.”
