If you’ve ever wanted to own this as a pet, it may become easier if this bill passes.
A new bill is hoping to waive the personal possession permit fee for owning a domesticated raccoon in Tennessee. Yes, I’m serious.. this is the hard-hitting thing we’re fighting for. There are some restrictions, of course, like you can’t just go out, grab a raccoon and call it a pet.. it has to be non-native and not captured from the wild.
