A grand opening is planned and Old Hickory’s first public art installation will be unveiled this weekend!
It’s called “wings of time” and took 3 years to create. It included suspended life-sized great blue herons, which can be seen flying around the Old Hickory area. Artist Gordon Heuther created the piece which will be debuted tomorrow at the community center in a celebration from 11am to 1pm.
