Take note of this as the weather starts getting warmer.
The Centennial Park walking loop will be partially closed for the next couple of weeks. The North side of the loop along Lake Watauga was closed down yesterday as part of ongoing renovations and it’ll stay that way for about 2 months. By this fall, even more renovations will be completed, including a new event pavilion along the lake, as well as the new Croquet Cafe, which will offer food, refreshments and restrooms.
