A massive project is about to take shape downtown.
With the new East Bank in development, some changes need to be made to some existing areas and structures in the area.. including the pedestrian bridge. We mentioned a few weeks ago that they’ll be raising the bridge and now we have a better idea of what that’ll look like.
The pedestrian bridge will be raised on the East side and extend over to 2nd street, which makes it closer and an easier walk to the new stadium. It also raises it above the future East Bank Boulevard and will pass by the new TPAC building and greenway.
