Residents are worried that their monthly water bills could go up by 150% soon. The city is moving forward with a water infrastructure project which will affect rates for the next five years. This means that over 5 years time, your bill could go from $175 a month to over $400 a month, which is unsustainable for most families.
It looks like the rates would go up 20% every year if this goes through, which it hasn’t yet!
