This is something to note in Williamson and Maury Counties.
A health advisory has just been issued after cases of histoplasmosis have been confirmed. The Tennessee Department of Health was alerted to cases in Spring Hill and Thompson’s Station. Histoplasmosis is an infection you can get from inhaling mold spores from bird or bat poop and a lot of people are exposed when clearing trees or brush or doing demo on old buildings.
