We knew this was bound to happen and it did.. the Commodores quarterback Diego Pavia is officially a Heisman Trophy finalist!
The historic news was announced last night as Diego is the first Vanderbilt player in history to be nominated as a finalist for the Heisman. In this season, he’s completed 71.2% of his passes, which is wild.
He’s already received the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award this year and is a finalist for the Walter Camp Player of the Year Award and The Manning Award. Let’s see if he can take this one home.
