Happy Halloween! If you’re going out tonight for trick-or-treating, Triple A and the Safe Kids Worldwide organization have released a list of tips to keep yourself safe.
They suggest only crossing the street at corners rather than mid-block and also locking eyes with a motorist before crossing in front of their car to make sure they see you.
Also, make yourself visible.. if you or your kids are wearing dark costumes, think about using glow-sticks or flashlights. Stick to sidewalks when you can, also they suggest putting the phones down while you’re walking around just to eliminate distractions.
