Maury Co To Install Multiple New Tornado Sirens In Coming Weeks

Things are getting a little louder in Maury County!

Over the next 4 to 6 weeks, 7 new storm sirens will be installed at some parks and school campuses. These will help warn residents of severe weather and when to take shelter. That’s just the county’s expansion.. in the City of Columbia, 12 sirens will be added and in Mt Pleasant, 1 new siren will be installed.
