An “Antler Alert” was issued in Kentucky, but I think the same goes for Tennessee, as well.
This is the time of year when deer are running all over the place, including on the roads, so it’s a good time to remind drivers to just be extra vigilant. The Transportation Cabinet also released some great tips like:
- wear a seatbelt
- turn headlights on
- slow down
- don’t swerve to avoid a deer because that could cause a more serious crash
