Nearly 500 Trees To Be Planted Along Murfreesboro Pike

A new project on Murfreesboro Pike will bring about 500 trees to the area.

Metro Water Services are hoping to plant the trees along Murfreesboro Pike to Old Murfreesboro Road to help absorb storm water, provide shade and improve air quality in the area. As of now, it looks like they’ll start planting the trees towards the end of this year and early next year.
