FDA Warns Of Radioactive Shrimp Sold Under Walmart’s Great Value Brand

If you bought this from Walmart for dinner this week, don’t eat it because it could be radioactive.

The FDA is warning about raw frozen shrimp sold under the Great Value brand because of a possible Cesium- 137 contamination. Which is a radioactive isotope that could cause some major health issues like radiation sickness and idk, death.

Good news is – US Customs is who found the problem so the shrimp never entered our food supply, however the FDA is recommending throwing out all of the products shipped after that initial detection date as a precaution.
