- When other people say they don’t watch the news I don’t believe them but when Mariah Carey says it, yea I could see that. Mariah Carey must have been busy in the recording studio and missed the headlines about Katy Perry and crew going to space! Mimi is out in the UK and was a guest on the Scott Mills show on BBC Radio, where he asked her if she’d go to space like Katy Perry did. Apparently, Mariah had no clue about Katy’s trip to space. “Did she go to space?” Mariah said, then asked the host, “Where did she go?” Which he clarified to orbit and back. “Wow! Alright Katy, I’m not mad at her, that’s pretty amazing.” Mariah was then asked if she’d do it. “I think I’ve done enough,” she said. Katy Perry was part of Bezo’s Blue Origin spaceflight, which blasted off on April 14 with an all-female crew.
