Pinkie the Elephant’s tale will live on over in West Nashville.
If you’ve ever driven past the University Motors dealership on Charlotte Avenue in West Nashville, you’ve seen Pinkie, the large pink elephant on display. Well the dealership closed down and the elephant was sold to a nearby car wash.
Thanks to a local craftsman named Spencer Connell, Pinkie’s got a makeover too. He was patched, pressure washed, sanded and repainted and will be on display at his new location, Clean Getaway Auto Wash, later this week.
