Down in Spring Hill, residents are being encouraged to “Adopt-a-Street.”
How it works is that a group can adopt a minimum of a 1-mile stretch of road and then you’re committed to doing 4 clean-ups per year for two years in that area. The city will make sure you’re prepared for your clean-ups too because they’ll provide safety vests, pickers, gloves, bags and whatever else is needed.
