Just because you grow up, doesn’t mean you have to get “old” and stop having fun! The Middle Tennessee Adult Baseball Association is proof of that. It started about 20 years ago for people 40 and older, and is still going strong. The 60-and-up division players say they may need more ice and longer stretching routines for their eight-game schedule, but they’re still having fun!
Joe Ward, a 67-year-old pitcher, says he’s been playing ball most of his life. He loves the fact that his father came to watch him play when he was 10, and now- though he’s in his 90s – still comes to watch him play. You can find out more about the Adult Baseball Association and the 60-and-up division here!
