Mondelez filed a 72-page suit last month, saying Aldi’s copycat packaging “trades upon the valuable reputation and goodwill” of multiple “cookie and cracker snack products.” The company wants monetary damages from Aldi and wants the grocer to stop ripping off its designs, which it claims “deceive customers”.
