Since I’m new to Nashville I had to do some research. Everyone keeps telling me how crazy Nashville and downtown will be during CMA fest this week. So I did a little digging to find the FREE Events and Big Acts in Nashville during CMAs this weekend.
Here’s what I was able to come up with:
CMA Fest 2025 is lighting up downtown Nashville from June 5–8, and there are plenty of free events featuring major country artists. Here’s a guide to some of the top free performances and where to catch them:
🎤 Free Public Stages with Big Names
Spotify House at Ole Red (300 Broadway)
This intimate venue hosts a stellar lineup from June 5–7, 10 a.m.–2 p.m. Expect performances from Kelsea Ballerini, Keith Urban, Lainey Wilson, Brothers Osborne, Little Big Town, Riley Green, and more. Admission is free but space is limited, so arrive early.
Chevy Riverfront Stage
Located at Riverfront Park, this is the largest free daytime venue. Catch artists like Billy Currington and Randy Houser performing throughout the festival.
Dr Pepper Amp Stage at Ascend Park
Behind Ascend Amphitheater, this stage features acts such as Rodney Atkins, Danielle Bradbery, Blanco Brown, and Sister Hazel.
Chevy Vibes Stage at Walk of Fame Park
Enjoy performances from Mickey Guyton, Pam Tillis, Shenandoah, and Craig Campbell in this park setting.
Hard Rock Stage at Hard Rock Café (100 Broadway)
Offering both daytime and evening shows, this stage features artists like Trey Lewis, Ashley Anne, and Sam Williams.
🍻 Free Shows at Broadway Bars
Ole Red (300 Broadway)
As mentioned, Ole Red hosts the Spotify House with major artists from June 5–7.
Acme Feed & Seed (101 Broadway)
Sony Music Nashville’s CAMP SONY event takes place here, featuring performances by Kameron Marlowe and others.
This rooftop venue hosts events like the UMG Takeover and CAA Presents Whiskey Jam, featuring artists such as Koe Wetzel and Tyler Hubbard.
