A local 7-year-old will represent the US in an international braille competition!
Finn Clougherty was born blind, with 2 detached retinas. Now, as just a first grader- he’s a master at braille and has a knack for spelling and proofreading! He just placed 1st in the Tennessee competition against other visually-impaired 1st and 2nd graders, which secured him a spot in the top 10 in his age category for not only the US, but multiple other countries, as well.

Finn’s next competition is in a few weeks in Los Angeles, where he’ll take on the top students from 5 other countries! We’re all cheering you on back here at home!
