Red 40 Dye To Be Banned In Tennessee Public Schools – Here’s When

Lunch time will look a little different in the coming years.

Tennessee public schools just banned Red 40 food dye, which includes it being sold in concessions and in vending machines. This could affect things like chip options to strawberry milk and Jell-O. It looks like this ban will go into effect in August 2027.
