- Disney has announced a new theme park that will open in Abu Dhabi. The new destination is being called the most tech-centric amusement park ever. A statement said, “The waterfront resort will be located on Yas Island, a world-class destination for entertainment and leisure, connecting travelers from the Middle East and Africa, India, Asia, Europe, and beyond. The park will be Disney’s 7th themed resort.
- An 8-year-old boy got access to his mother’s Amazon account and ordered over 70,000 Dum Dum lollipops. Holly LaFavers from Kentucky got a $4000 charge after her son Liam made the order. Liam wanted to have a carnival for his friends and pass out lollipops. LaFavers said she tried to cancel the order, but 22 boxes showed up at her house. Family and friends stepped up to buy boxes of the Dum Dums. Eventually, Amazon refunded LaFavers the full purchase amount.
- Apple is planning to shuffle its iPhone release schedule next year as it releases the first foldable iPhone. Their first foldable iPhone is expected to debut later next year alongside the iPhone 18 Pro and a new “Air” variant, while the standard iPhone 18 is reportedly delayed until spring 2027. The foldable model is said to feature a book-style design with a 5.7-inch display when closed and nearly 8 inches when open. It is said to be just 4.5 to 4.8mm thin when unfolded. It will also include Face ID, positioning it as a premium entry in the foldables market.
