- The ACMs are next week and more performers have been added. Jelly Roll will sing with Shaboozey, and Rascal Flatts will perform with Backstreet Boys! The show opener will feature “Songs of the Decades” performance that highlights past Songs of the Year winners. Reba McEntire, Sugarland, Dan + Shay, Wynonna Judd, LeAnn Rimes, and Clint Black are all set to take part in the medley to kick off the 60th annual ACMs. Brooks & Dunn will unite with Cody Johnson, and Megan Moroney has been added to the lineup which already features Eric Church, Chris Stapleton, Blake Shelton, Kelsea Ballerini, Miranda Lambert, Alan Jackson, and Lainey Wilson. The ACMs have been announcing winners in some key categories. Zach Top and Ella Langley were named New Male and Female Artist of the Year winners, respectively (they’ll also each perform), while Red Clay Strays won New Duo or Group of the Year. The 2025 ACM Awards are on May 8, at 8PM ET. The show will air live from the Star in Frisco, Texas.
- Today is Cinco De Mayo, and plenty of restaurants want to lure you in with special deals. Chipotle has a couple of bargains. Through May 5, there’s no delivery fee when you order on the Chipotle app and Chipotle.com. Customers can also get free chips and Queso Blanco with online orders from the app and website. Taco Bell is offering a free Nachos Bell Grande with an order of $20 or more on DoorDash, GrubHub, or Uber Eats. Chuy’s, Taco Johns, Moe’s, El Pollo Loco, Bonefish Grill, Checkers, Rally’s, Red Robin, and more have other deals too.
- Buffalo Trace, the oldest distillery in the country, got hit hard by flooding in Kentucky last month, but they’re already bouncing back. The water got pretty high—almost 50 feet—and shut things down for a bit, but crews jumped in fast to clean up and get things running again. They’re not back to full tours yet, but you can still stop by for a modified visit and see how they’re working to keep this historic place going strong.
