Community Event Helps Over 700 Residents Get Real ID

Hundreds of Middle Tennessee residents lined up to get their Real ID this weekend!

The federal deadline is just about a week away and over the weekend, over 700 people lined up at the Southeast Community Center in Antioch to register for a new license. The event was such a success that organizers want to put on another to help meet the demand.

Also, just because the deadline is May 7th, you can still apply for the Real ID after that time.. that’s just the day you’ll need it by if you are planning on traveling on a plane and don’t have a passport to use.
