- Simone Biles won her fourth Sportswoman of the Year trophy at the Laureus World Sports Awards, tying Serena Williams for the record. She was honored at the awards in Madrid, eight months after winning three gold medals and one silver at the Paris Olympics. Simone previously won the Laureus award in 2017, 2019, and 2020. “I’ve been dreaming of moments like this since I was a foster kid,” Biles said after being presented the award by show host Lindsey Vonn. “So I have to say thank you to my parents for adopting my sister and I and for allowing me to turn my passion into my profession.” Simone Biles said after the show that she will be at the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics, but hasn’t decided whether it will be as a competitor or a spectator. Sweden’s Mondo Duplantis was crowned Sportsman of the Year following his success at the Paris Olympics and setting multiple pole vault world records. Tennis legend Rafael Nadal received the Laureus Sporting Icon Award.

It’s never the end, only the beginning for so many to be blessed by your gifts….. you killed it last night.” Meanwhile, Brian’s bandmate Kevin also shared his support. “So glad you got to experience this,” he commented. “Proud of you young man. Your journey has just begun…”

According to All Recipes, Little Debbie has confirmed the release of the Nutty Buddy Cakes. These are a hybrid of the extremely popular Nutty Buddy bars and a snack that seemingly disappeared from shelves a while ago, Little Debbie Cloud Cakes. The Could Cakes were never officially discontinued, they just weren’t being stocked on shelves for many years. Little Debbie has a spokesperson, not named Debbie, but Erica, and she made a statement on the company’s behalf: “Shoppers are looking for new ways to enjoy their go-to flavor combinations. Big Pack Nutty Buddy Cakes deliver just that—a soft, cake-style snack with all the peanut butter and chocolate flavor fans expect from the Nutty Buddy name.”
