- Jennifer Lopez is not done with the big screen. She has landed a new role in a psychological thriller movie! She signed on for Netflix’s adaptation of The Last Mrs. Parrish, based on a 2017 novel of the same name by Lynne Constantine. The psychological thriller centers on a twisted con-artist who targets a wealthy couple — the Parrishes — as her next victims. She infiltrates the pair by befriending the wife and seducing the husband, with the master plan of becoming the next Mrs. Parrish, only to discover that the wife’s life is far more complicated than she could have imagined. Additional casting has not been announced yet. Jennifer Lopez will appear next in the Kiss of the Spider Woman musical remake in theaters on October 10, 2025.Researchers at Cambridge University’s Institute of Astronomy believe that there is a 99.7 percent chance that there is life on the K2-18B planet that’s 700 trillion miles from Earth.
- Scientists think there is life on a planet far, far away. After analyzing data from NASA’s James Webb Space Telescope, the scientists discovered “the chemical signature of at least one of two molecules that are associated with life” that are similar to what we have on Earth. One of the researchers said, “If we confirm that there is life on K2-18B, it should basically confirm that life is very common in the galaxy.” Though promising, scientists won’t confirm proof of life on another planet unless the results show a 99.99999 percent chance.
- A new University of Waterloo study found a quick and simple way to lower blood pressure: eat bananas. Bananas are already America’s favorite fruit, with Americans eating 15 million pounds of them a year. But they are also high in potassium. University researchers now say eating potassium-rich foods lowers blood pressure more effectively than eliminating salt from your diet. It may not be as tasty to many, but broccoli is also rich in blood pressure-fighting potassium, especially if added to your diet at least four times per week.
