Just something to note if you use the Publix parking garage in the Capitol View area on Charlotte Avenue.
Starting yesterday, Metropolis Parking starting managing that parking garage and now, you’ll have to pay to park. The first 2 hours will be free for customers, but then anything after that, you’ll have to pay.
Publix is saying they had nothing to do with the decision to start charging and apparently the property owner asked them to come in and start managing the garage.

I’m wondering what this means for employees who need to park there. Are they going to now get charged for coming to work?
