We’ve been putting them to good use the last couple of weeks and now, crews will be doing their annual maintenance on all 113 tornado sirens throughout Nashville.
Crews will be going around from site to site making repairs, as needed. This is typically done during the Summer, but with how severe the weather has gotten, they wanted to get out there earlier and just make sure that all the batteries are working properly and haven’t been drained from being used so much.
Just know that while they do this maintenance, they’ll be conducting growl tests so if you randomly hear one go off, that’s probably why. More details HERE
