They’re baaack…
I thought I was going crazy when I heard a little something rumbling in the trees yesterday, but Cicada Brood XIV is starting to emerge from the ground here in Middle Tennessee! Lucky for us, it won’t be as bad as last year when 2 broods all came up at the same time.
The site “Cicada Mania” says that a warm rain can trigger them coming up so with all the rain in the last week, I think that makes sense. Prepare for some extra noise this Spring!
