After this latest round of severe storms, a lot of people are taking a look at how they get their weather information. Nashville Mayor Freddie O’Connell made an announcement urging us all to have several ways to get emergency information, including signing up for the MEANS system. It’s the METRO EMERGENCY ALERT AND NOTIFICATION SYSTEM. You go to www.Hub.Nashville.gov, click “Public Safety”, then “Register with MEANS”.
