Driverless Cars Testing Routes Around Middle Tennessee

This isn’t what we needed on the roads, but it’s happening.

A rideshare company called Waymo is testing their driverless cars around Nashville this week. They like to test these cars in different cities so the technology can learn the weather, road conditions and more. As of now, the testing will see a couple cars driven manually by humans and then once the technology can navigate the roads, the vehicles will start driving themselves.
