I you went the entire weekend without getting ANY alerts on your phone about the weather, it may be time to change that! Emergency alerts are really important to enable this time of the year when the possibility for severe storms is higher.
Did you know that Mt Juliet and Metro Nashville have their own alerts system? Mt Juliet has a system called MJAlert which will set your phone off when you may be in the path of danger. Experts gave a great tip when it comes to the alerts and emergency messages.. set a special, loud ringtone for the alert phone numbers so that when they call or text, you’ll be able to differentiate urgent alerts from regular texts.
