If you have a teen or young adult in the house, this could keep them busy this Summer!
The Metropolitan Action Commission’s P.O.W.E.R. Youth Summer Employment portal is now open. Teens and young adults can now apply for over 1000 summer internships and work experience opportunities.
This program is cool too because they’re not just working, they’ll also learn skills like how to open a bank account, how to save and invest money and how to advocate for themselves in the workplace and negotiate their salary. People age 14 to 24 can take part in the program.
