A new safety measure could be coming to downtown Nashville.
Officials are looking into using retractable bollards, especially when there are big events downtown, which help keep cars out. If you’re wondering what a bollard is, think about like at Target how they have the red balls out front, those are stationary bollards.
A pilot program will have the retractable bollards placed where 5th Avenue meets Broadway around next winter. Details HERE
