Time to keep your fingers crossed!
Yesterday was a big moment here in Nashville as a bid was officially submitted to bring a WNBA team to town. The team would be called Tennessee Summitt, named after the legendary Lady Vols’ head coach Pat Summitt.
Their colors would be “Summitt Blue” which is a light blue, and gold.. so it’ll be similar to the Preds, who would share Bridgestone Arena with the new team. If awarded, the team would begin to play in 2028.
