- A woman gave birth to a baby boy in a Krispy Kreme parking lot in Alabama on Wednesday, Jan. 22. According to a Krispy Kreme spokesperson, the baby’s father was driving the woman who was in active labor, to the hospital when they were stopped by the “once-in-a-century” winter storm that hit. The baby boy, Dallas, was born healthy, and he and his mother and father are “all doing great.” The manager of the Krispy Kreme suggested that they treat the family to free doughnuts for a year, and host Dallas’ first birthday party. However, Krispy Kreme decided to take it a step further and offered to throw Dallas a birthday party every year until he’s all grown up! Not sure how many years we’re talking but his birth certificate will forever say Krispy Kreme as his place of birth.
