Army veteran continues to serve through local nonprofit
We did a Make My Day Monday on the Mix Morning show this week as a shout-out to Veterans on Veterans Day.
But we also want to let you know about a Veteran who’s out of the military but still serving in a different way, and needs your help. Sheldon Diggs, founder of the nonprofit Souls United, which provides warm food and other services for our un-housed neighbors, is readying his annual FRIENDSGIVING Nov 17th, where the group will feed 250 people who are experiencing homelessness. If you want to volunteer or donate, he says he’d love to have the help!
