It’s the end of an era for students in Murfreesboro City Schools.
There will be no traditional basketball league this school year, instead, it’ll be replaced with a series of sports clinics to allow students to explore new sports. There’s already a petition going around with over 200 signatures on it to get the season back.
The district says that part of their reasoning is because they don’t have the accommodations for the growing demands and crowd control during games. More details and petition info HERE
