As if we needed another reason to not be fans of snakes. They’ve been causing power outages for some residents in Franklin!
Apparently, in the last 8 days, there’s actually been 4 power outages caused by them. Basically what happens is the snakes come into contact with energized equipment which causes it to short out.. for a long time, squirrels had a bad name because they were up to these shenanigans. Crews think the cicadas might be to blame for attracting the snakes.
