This morning we played the Thousand Dollar Minute with a contestant who was hoping to repair her broken van to make it easier to drive her 5 kids around. Unfortunately, she didn’t take down the clock to win, but what happened next was amazing.
We spoke with a local man named Dan who called in to tell us about a nonprofit called “Mechanics on a Mission” which helps people who are suffering from transportation insecurity. This is such an incredible organization that directly helps people right here in Middle Tennessee with car repairs, and in some cases, they’ll even give a car to somebody in need!
