Today marks 22 years since the attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon. Today is known as Patriot Day and is A Day of Service and Remembrance.
Yesterday, more than 3 hundred 40 firefighters climbed 28 stories, 4 times at the Tennessee Tower to honor the firefighters who lost their life on 9/11.
- Each climber was wearing a badge with the name and photograph of a firefighter who passed and 100 percent of the proceeds from the event went to support the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation

Today is the 9/11 National Day of Service Meal Pack
- at the Curb Event Center at Belmont University
- it’ll run until about 2:30pm today and all meals will stay in the community and be distributed by Second Harvest Food Bank

Volunteers at the Nashville National Cemetery

- starting at 10am, volunteers will clean headstones and beautify the cemetery to honor those who served our country
