There are few things I love more than a music festival!!! With Bonnaroo (and so many other festivals!!) just around the corner, I’ve compiled my packing lists into one MASTER LIST of stuff you won’t want to forget!! Trust me, a LOT of these come from personal experience…yikes…lol!!
A few lil tips before we begin… if this is a camping festival, mapping out your campsite beforehand can be super helpful to make sure everyone brings what’s needed! It also makes the set up process way easier because you have a vision! Need ideas? Check out pictures below! ALSO- make sure you check out the festival’s website to see what is/is not allowed on the grounds!!
Note: This list is most specifically catered to Bonnaroo, but it has helped me pack for all sorts of festivals in the past 🙂
Tips for picking your outfits…
- Wear things that are breathable! It’s gonna be HOT!
- Don’t wear itchy materials… no matter how cute it is, the pictures will not be worth the misery! Unfortunately! Lol!
- The chances you get dirty are obviously HIGH. Do NOT wear your most favorite item(s)!
- My rule of thumb is always bring 2 outfits for each day! It is refreshing to switch it up after a full day of sweating!!
- Sometimes it gets cold at night, so make sure you bring a sweatshirt or a couple long sleeves!
- Remember – when it comes to adhesive bras or body tape, you will probably be sweating… a lot!!! Wear with caution!
OMG, SHOES! (iykyk)…
- Combat boots are my go-to
- Tennis shoes are a safe bet for all the walking and dancing you are going to do! I wear my Converse pretty often!
- Chacos are also usually a go-to, but do NOT wear them if you haven’t broken them in!!
- That goes for basically every shoe, actually… haha!
- You’ll also probably want to bring some sort of slides for hanging out and also walking to the bathrooms!
- Bring rainboots! Better safe than sorry! There is ALWAYS a chance for muddy conditions!
- Again, remember to bring the comfiest shoes you have and make sure you are willing to get them dirty!!
- PRO-TIP: always buy insoles! They will save your life!
Sleep stuff…
- Pillow(s)
- Blanket(s)
- Sheets
- Sleeping bag

- Tarps
- Tent
- If you have a truck, you can definitely go the truck tent route to make more room for hanging out at the campsite!

- Sport & rehydration drinks
- Fun bevies 😉
- Again, No glass!!!
- Don’t forget juice if that will be needed! Maybe even some fun paper straws!
- Remember when grocery shopping – you don’t want to bring anything that might not make it if your ice melts or anything that will melt sitting out!!
For FUN!…
- Fun accessories
- Fun décor for the campsite
- Camera , go-pro
- Bringing my Polaroid camera is my favorite!!! But make sure if you bring something like this you bring all the back-up equipment and store it safely!

- Games where you read a card and everyone plays or answers are the most fun with big groups!
I KNOW this is a really long list, but I also know that you are going to feel incredibly prepared for ANYTHING during the festival!!!!!!!!
I’m aware even the best of the best make mistakes 😉 Anything I (*somehow*) forgot? Drop it in the comments!
