ABBA is dropping their first album in 40 years. If this means nothing to you, ask your mother. The band that made Swedish music a “thing” has decided to record after this extended coffee break. The collection arriving in November.
Perhaps as significant, they’ve teamed up with George Lucas’ Industrial Light and Magic to record a new “show.” It’s not a hologram, which is all the rage for bringing dead folks back to the stage (Whitney Houston, MJ). It involves the computer geniuses turing the senior citizen singers into versions of their 1970’s selves.
