Not sure where they go at your house every summer, but if we are talking about wasps – they seem to love my deck and carport. Yep, warm weather means we are swarming with all kinds of bugs – this summer we have got cicadas – but between you and me, I have not seen one of those yet. What I am seeing are a lot of wasps – one of nature’s biggest jerks if you ask me. No seriously, I am fine with just about every kind of bee doing their business every summer, but wasps, they are my sworn enemy. Mainly because (knock on wood) to my knowledge I have never been stung by one and hope to keep it that way. But wasps unlike bees really have no appreciation for personal space – nope they will fly right into ya, and it seems I am always battling one that’s scouting a place to build a nest either on my deck or somewhere under my carport, and I’m just not having it, so my bottle of wasp killer is always at the ready. So, you know I have an issue with wasps, and as luck would have it, I happened upon a survey done by Zevo and this is their top 15 results of most hated bugs:
